ePro - Maxwell Vehicles
The ePro conversion does not modify the ProMaster's safety and restraint systems. Replace and service SRS components per the ProMaster VIN.
The air conditioning system in your ePro should be serviced as an electric vehicle AC system; do not use PAG oil. When converted, the system is flushed and the compressor oil type changes to POE. The only servicable RAM components are the cabin evaporator, expansion valve, condensor, high-speed condensor fan, and desicant packet.
All of the exterior components, with the exception of emblems and the chargeport-fender (if equipped with CCS Fast Charge) are carryover Ram ProMaster parts. Body panels, bumpers, and exterior trim should be replaced accordingly.
All of the ProMaster braking components remain unmodified, including the rotors, drums, pads, shoes, calipers, brake lines, master cylinder, ABS module and vacuum booster pump.
Most of the thermal system is modified and or removed with the ePro conversion. The only remaining cooling components are the original radiator and radiator hose fittings.
All of the ProMaster door components, including hinges, latches and mirrors, remain unmodified.
The ePro powertrain and the ProMaster electrical systems are integrated, yet separate. Stock body control modules and components get 12V power from the ePro Power Conversion System, and may be diagnosed or replaced as originally designed. All of the stock ProMaster electrical components and control modules may be replaced with an OEM part based on the VIN.
All of the glass on the ePro, with the exception of any aftermarket windows installed during a 3rd party conversion, are original Mopar components.
Becuse the cabin heating system is replaced with a high-voltage resistive coolant heater, the only remaining component is the heater core. The cabin HVAC blower, vanes and control module should be replaced with OEM components.
All of the interior components, with the exception of the instrument cluster and shifter, are original ProMaster components and should be replaced with OEM parts based on the factory trim package.
All of the factory indication components remain unmodified after the conversion. Use RAM reccommended replacement lamps and assemblies based on your VIN.
The ePro conversion replces the factory belt-driven power steering pump with an electric replacement. All other steering components including the rack, linkages, and hydraulic lines remain unmodified. The hydraulic fluid is replaced with CH11F. Note that only this fluid should be used in the system. Failure to do so may cause premature wear and or poor steering performance.
The ePro conversion does not modify the factory suspension. All suspension component should be replaced at RAM's reccommended intervals with the appropriate parts based on the VIN.
The ePro conversion does not change the wheels or tires.
